Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Negombo

Activities: Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, transfer to Negombo, relax on the beach, and explore the local market.

Overnight: Negombo.

Day 2: Negombo to Anuradhapura

Travel: Early morning departure from Negombo to Anuradhapura (approx. 4-5 hours).

Activities: Visit the ancient ruins, including Sri Maha Bodhi, Isurumuniya, and Ruwanwelisaya.

Overnight: Anuradhapura.

Day 3: Anuradhapura to Mihintale

Travel: Short drive (approximately 30 minutes) to Mihintale.

Activities:

Explore the sacred site of Mihintale, the birthplace of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.

Visit key landmarks like the Mihintale Stupa, the Aradhana Gala (Meditation Rock), and Kaludiya Pokuna (Black Water Pool).

Day 4: Anuradhapura to Mannakatuwa Lake
