Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo

  • Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport.
  • Transfer to Colombo.
  • Explore iconic sites:
    • Gangaramaya Temple
    • Independence Square
    • Pettah Market
  • Overnight stay: Colombo.

Day 2: Colombo to Dambulla via Yapahuwa

  • Morning departure for Yapahuwa (2.5 hours).
  • Visit the Yapahuwa Temple, a historic rock fortress.
  • Continue to Dambulla (2.5 hours).
  • Explore the Dambulla Cave Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
