Itinerary

Day 1

Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be picked up and driven to the cultural city of Kandy. Spend the night in this beautiful city, where you can relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2

Rise early for a thrilling trek to the Knuckles Mountain Range. Ascend its five peaks, where you'll be surrounded by the misty mountains and lush greenery. After a day of exploring, spend the night in the serene surroundings of Knuckles.

Day 3

Enjoy a relaxing day at the hotel, taking in the fresh mountain air and breathtaking views. The weather in the Knuckles Range can change throughout the day, offering a dynamic experience of nature.

Day 4

Experience the thrill of abseiling at Thaliyawatuna Ella Waterfall, a hidden gem surrounded by lush forest. After the adventure, travel to Wasgamuwa and check into your hotel for a peaceful night, surrounded by nature.

Day 5

Start your day with a morning safari at Wasgamuwa National Park, home to herds of wild elephants and a variety of bird and butterfly species. Spend the night in a circuit bungalow within the park, immersed in nature.

Day 6

Begin the day with an exciting kayaking trip along the Mahaweli River, covering nearly 40 miles until you reach Manampitiya. Afterward, relax and stay overnight at a nearby hotel.

Day 7

Explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its impressive ruins, palaces, temples, and giant Buddha statues. This day will be filled with history and culture as you walk through this ancient capital of Sri Lanka. Stay overnight at a hotel in Polonnaruwa.

Day 8

On your final day, you’ll journey back to Negombo for your departure, taking with you unforgettable memories of Sri Lanka’s wild and scenic landscapes.
